Listening to Dion and the Del-Satins. Or maybe it’s the Belmonts. He wasn’t really happy was he? Dion, I mean. He seems really confident, when he sings, but he kind of drifted. He had the pop rug pulled from under him. I believe he does Christian music now. Good for him. He hasn’t killed himself like Del Shannon.
When I left Brisbane I left a lot of baggage behind. Now I find you just accumulate that shit.

It’s not like what you think touring will be when you’re 15. It’s either more glamourous or more gross but never what you thought.
Not a bad thing. I’m watching a video of our European tour from last year. It’s narcisistic but whatever. It was in parts, disgracefully good fun, and incredibly trying. I don’t think we’ll get another experience the same as that one. I’m very grateful for it.
This tour we’re in (cheap) hotels almost every night. It feels good, but we miss that thing of getting a peek at other peoples lives and homes.
